The denial is over...they can't argue with empirical evidence so now they've changed the argument.
Maybe global warming is a good thing.
Kinda reminds me of Babs. "Yeah Junior might have effed this Katrina thing but these poor people are better off in the Astrodome than they were in their homes."

I'm a little rusty on my debate techniques. Help me out. Is this the "straw man" argument?
