The Lone Star Chapter of the Windjammer Vacation Cult had a meeting in Galveston last weekend. Twelve jammers met at the Galveston Island Hilton for drinks, dinner and a sunset cruise on the Captain Kidd out of Kemah.
Seaweed covered the beaches but that didn't stop us from having a mid-morning beach party complete with rum swizzles, pain killers and various other refreshments not usually associated with mid-morning.
